TECH GUYS / WEBSITE INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
How information is handled when you browse this website, prepare a project message or contact Tech Guys.
Last updated: 22 October 2026Who this notice covers
This notice covers the Tech Guys website and enquiries sent to our contact email, info@TechGuys.digital. For information about a particular client project, the agreed project documentation may provide additional details.
Information you choose to share
If you contact us, we receive the information you send, such as your name, email address, business details and project requirements. Please send only information relevant to the enquiry and avoid including passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
How the project starter works
When online submissions are enabled, selecting Send inquiry sends your name, email, optional company and phone number, chosen services, project stage and message to our protected enquiry system. Authorized team administrators use these details to review and respond to your enquiry. The form confirms successful storage with a reference.
If online submissions are unavailable, the form prepares an email message instead. You decide whether to send it through your email app to techguys.digital@gmail.com or copy it using your device’s clipboard. Unsent form details are not saved to browser storage. WhatsApp remains a placeholder.
Why we use enquiry information
Information you send is used to understand and respond to your request, discuss a potential project, prepare an agreed proposal and maintain relevant business correspondence. Project delivery, billing and contractual records are handled according to the arrangements for that project.
Hosting, email and external providers
Website requests pass through hosting and access providers. They may process technical information such as an IP address, browser information, request details and security or session records to deliver and protect the service. Email providers process messages you choose to send. When enabled, our enquiry database and admin authentication use Supabase. To limit form abuse, the server derives a keyed hash from the connection IP address; the enquiry database stores that hash temporarily rather than the raw IP address.
External websites and applications have their own privacy practices. Their handling of information is governed by their own notices and settings. The website includes Google Analytics through the Google tag to measure visits and understand website usage. Google may receive page, device and interaction information according to the Analytics configuration and its own privacy practices. The website does not add the contents of project messages to custom analytics events.
Keeping and removing information
Unsent form details stay in the current page state. Submitted enquiries and relevant internal progress notes are retained for business correspondence and follow-up; administrators may export them to an Excel file. Retention depends on the enquiry, any resulting project, record-keeping needs and disputes.
Contact info@TechGuys.digital to ask about information you have sent, request a correction or ask for deletion. We will explain what can be actioned and any reason relevant records need to be retained.
Your choices and requests
You can browse without completing the project starter. You control whether to send an email or copy a prepared message, and you can use your browser’s privacy and cookie controls.
Rights available to you depend on the laws that apply to your circumstances. Contact us about access, correction, deletion or another privacy request, and we will consider the request under the applicable requirements.
Updates and contact
This notice should be read alongside the Cookie Policy. If the website’s data handling changes, this page will be updated to reflect the change. Questions about this notice can be sent to info@TechGuys.digital.
